A Multi Plate Multi Lens Daguerreotype Panorama

I’ve been experimenting non-stop with a few new daguerreotype techniques, and however promising the results are looking so far, those experiments are slow going, and I’ll release at least part of it hopefully soon. But here’s something I thought up and was able to execute in a relatively speedy manner, which I believe warrants a look. I don’t believe this method of making a panoramic image has ever been utilized before, so I’m dubbing it ‘Antorama’....

Quality sliders can still cost a fair amount of money, and not everybody has a gimbal or other stabiliser. We just have to go regular handheld. But this often leads to bumpy footage. So, what can we do?...

Canon May Be Bringing Back Eye Controlled Focus To Future Cameras

Way back when, before DSLRs, Canon had the EOS 5 (that’s the A2E to those in the USA). It was a pretty decent camera. My dad owned one. But one of the things it did which no other camera on the market could do, was eye-controlled autofocus. This wasn’t like the Eye AF we get today where the camera focuses on your subject’s eye. No, this was where the photographer used their eye to look at what they wanted the camera to focus on....

Czech Online Store Lists The Fujifilm Xf33Mm F 1 0 Autofocus Lens Price At 3 100

The Fujifilm 33mm f/1 AF lens isn’t exactly a secret. It was first mentioned back in July last year when Fujifilm released their latest lens roadmap for X series cameras. While not originally scheduled for release until 2020, the lens was made official a couple of months later in September. We knew the focal length, the maximum aperture, and what mount it was for. We even had a rough idea of the release schedule, but what we didn’t know about was the price....
