Canon Has Patented A New Ultra Wide 13 21Mm F 2 8 Lens For Eos R Cameras

A new Canon patent application has surfaced, detailing a new 13-21mm f/2.8 RF mount lens for the full-frame Canon EOS R mirrorless system. There’s no word that this lens will actually see a production line, and Canon does already have a 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM lens for the RF mount, so I think it might be unlikely. Canon Patents 40 800Mm F4 5 5 6 Lens It Would Be Great If It S Made But I Am Skeptical

Canon just patented a 40-800mm lens. Isn’t this just incredible. In old point and shoot terms the box would have been marked X20. You have to admit it’s impressive. I mean, the only thing that comes close to that is my old 14-400 modem. Oh, it is full frame too. It’s not that there were not huge zooms ranges before, Nikon made the excellent (for its price) 18-200 lens, and sigma has the ultra telephoto 50-500mm f/4....

Canon Patents Reveal Some Info About Eye Controlled Af Coming In The Eos R3

Made famous with 35mm SLR cameras like the EOS 3 and EOS 5 (A2/A2e in the USA), Canon’s eye-controlled autofocus system has been sorely missed by some over the last couple of decades. New patents filed by Canon (US 2021/0124239 and US 2021/0125375) have now revealed a little information about how the user will be able to interact with it through the menu system and how you’ll be able to calibrate it....
