There’s a new phishing scam going around, targeting Adobe users, according to a report from TechRadar. It involves sending an email from the “Adobe Cloud” service informing them that they have files available to download. Only you don’t. “Adobe Cloud” isn’t a real thing. And nor is the email or the website it sends you to. By all accounts, the email appears to look completely genuine on first glance, complete with real looking URLs....

Edelkrone has launched the newest v3 iteration of its FlexTILT tripod head, the FlexTILT v3. I say tripod head, but it’s not limited to a tripod. You can stick it on a slider, a motion control head or even just set it straight down on a surface. The new version replaces the FlexTILT 2, released in 2016 – and made 3D Printable in 2019. As a result of the apparent popularity of the FlexTILT v2, Edelkrone says the new v3 offers all the same features of the previous version but has been re-engineered to reduce the cost by quite a significant amount....

We’ve already seen some of Sony a9’s impressive features in action. We’ve showed you how it focuses and shoots at 20 fps, and now there’s a video that shows its capability of eye-tracking autofocus. It’s pretty accurate and fast, and you can see it work on a person who moves, blinks, turns his head and more. Take a look. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has released The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST), which is a free online training programme that recreational drone users are required to take and pass before being allowed to fly their drone. Interestingly, even if you have your Part 107 certification for commercial use, you still need to do this, too. And don’t think you can easily get away without it (not for long, anyway), as you’re legally obligated to present proof of having taken it if asked by the FAA or law enforcement when flying recreationally....

Wu Yongning, a famous Chinese “rooftopper,” was confirmed dead after failing at one of his recognizable stunts. The former movie stuntman attempted to hang off a 62-story building for a sponsored video. He was unable to climb back onto the roof, so has eventually lost his grip and fell down. 26-year-old Wu amassed millions of followers on the Chinese social network Weibo. He was famous for fearlessly climbing the tallest skyscrapers without the safety equipment....
