A young photojournalist Jibon Ahmed recently posted a seemingly innocent photo of a couple sharing a kiss in the rain. The photo was taken at Dhaka University, and this image depicting love quickly went viral. However, it got the photographer in a whole lot of trouble. According to a Tweet sent out by Nokishita, the upcoming Canon EOS 1DX Mark III along with the WFT-E9 wireless file transmitter have been added to Canon’s latest product list. It looks like Canon’s getting ready to expand their EOS R camera collection. And they’re not just refreshing old models but introducing two new product lines. According to a post on Asobinet, Canon is set to announce two new cameras on February 8th. The first is the (full -frame?) Canon EOS R8 and the APS-C Canon EOS R50 (possibly the first true successor model to the EOS M system). Chinese authorities have set rules and corresponding punishments to try to keep up with the rapidly changing pace of AI-generated images. The Cyberspace Administration of China, which keeps tabs on all things internet related, has passed a regulation on “deep synthesis” technology. The new laws will go into effect from January 10th, 2023, and effectively require any AI-generated images to have a watermark that defines them as such. The administration defines deep synthesis technology as “technology that uses deep learning, virtual reality, and other synthesis algorithms to generate text, images, audio, video, and virtual scenes....

Spotted by OsitaLV, who posted an image to Twitter along with the question “The cheapest DJI drone ever?”, a new DJI drone appears to have popped up at Walmart. But is it really new? According to DroneDJ, no. It’s probably not. In fact, it just looks like a rebranded version of the original DJI Mavic Mini with the new Mavic Air 2 controller. Despite OsitaLV’s question about it being “the cheapest DJI drone ever”, he didn’t mention a price, and no price appears on the listing on the Walmart website....

Well, it looks like the DJI Mini 3 Pro isn’t the only small drone that DJI’s been working on lately. According to leaks from both OsitaLV and DealsDrone, DJI’s also been working on a small-ish (~500g) FPV drone in the CineWhoop style.
