Advertisements The Open competition of the Sony World Photography Awards (SWPA) is run by The World Photography Organisation. They have selected this year’s winners, along with 100 shortlisted images, across ten categories:
As for the awards, each winner receives the latest Sony gear and they will compete for the Open Photographer of the Year title and a $5,000 USD reward. The overall Open winner will be announced on 9 June current year on the World Photography Organisation and Sony’s online platforms. Below you can see this year’s category winners in the Open competition. I have also selected one shortlisted image in each category, but I strongly suggest that you check out the whole gallery on SWPA’s website.
