Last summer, 7Artisans launched a set of incredibly cheap fast prime lenses for MFT and mirrorless cameras. They have just added two new members to their line: a wide-angle 12mm f/2.8 and a 35mm f/1.2, both with a price tag lower than $200.
The two new lenses are available for Sony E, Canon EOS-M, and Fuji FX mounts, and they are both manual focus. In the previous set of lenses 7Artisans released, only the 7.5mm f/2.8 fisheye lens was created for APS-C cameras. This time, both lenses are designed for APS-C cameras. 12mm f/2.8
The 12mm f/2.8 lens is compatible with Sony E, Canon M, and Fuji cameras. It’s designed for APS-C cameras, and you can get it for $188. Take a look at some sample images on 7Artisans website.

35mm f/1.2
7Artisans already launched a 35mm lens last year, along with three other lenses. It was a 35mm f/2 lens, designed for full frame cameras. Their new 35mm lens has an f/1.2 aperture, and it’s designed for APS-C cameras. It fits Sony E, Canon EOS-M, and Fuji FX mounts. As for the price, you can buy it for $145. Although the low price usually doesn’t promise premium quality, lenses like this could be great for trying out new focal lengths without breaking the bank. After all, sometimes even the cheap lenses turn out to be pretty good. According to Anjum Vahanvati’s review, 7artisans’ 7.5mm f2.8 Fisheye Lens also isn’t all that bad despite its low price.
