After some leaked photos and specs, GoPro HERO10 Black has now officially been announced. GoPro’s latest flagship camera looks exactly like its predecessor, but it brings some significant improvements, especially in the video department.
The HERO10 is equipped with the new GP2 processor for faster performance. As we already learned from the leaked specs, video resolution is improved over the HERO9. Instead of the 5K/30fps, the newest action camera shoots 5.3K/60fps, 4K/120fps, and 2.7K/240fps. It features HyperSmooth stabilization like the previous model, and as the name suggests – it’s hyper smooth.
Not much has changed as far as the photo capabilities go. The HERO10 Black shoots 23 MP photos just like its older cousin, and it supports RAW format. You can also get 19.6 MP still images from the videos you capture. Of course, the HERO10 is an action cam, so it’s rugged and waterproof down to 33 feet (10m).

It’s priced at $499,99, but if you have the GoPro subscription, it will cost you $399,99. You have other perks with the subscription too, such as uploading everything straight to the cloud.
