The Canon EOS R3, announced on Tuesday, has proven to be a popular camera. It’s not surprising, really. A lot of EOS 1DX Mark III (and probably Nikon D6) owners have been wanting ot make the jump to mirrorless for a while now, just waiting for a true sports and photojournalism flagship model to come along. But it’s proven to be so popular that by Thursday, Canon Japan had already posted a statement saying they can’t keep up with the demand. And that’s not the only product they can’t keep up with, either. Pretty much everything else announced along with the EOS R3 and other new releases are also now lagging behind.
