Well, this is new. Created by Germany-based landscape photographer Christian Möhrle, what we have here is Infrascapes. Made from around 20,000 images shot over the course of 4 months of his free time, this may just be the world’s first 8K infrared timelapse. The images were created around southern Germany using a modified Canon EOS 750D (T6i) and a variety of lenses. For camera movement, he used the Syrp 3-axis motion system....

It’s not uncommon for Instagram to test and implement all sorts of new features. But it seems that the latest change will be what many of us have been waiting for: fast-forwarding videos. According to app researcher Jane Manchun Wong, Instagram could finally let you skip backwards and forwards through videos in your feed. If you find it annoying that you have to watch a video all over again if you accidentally scroll down, this may soon be the thing of the past....
Instagram has quietly shut down two more of its apps. Boomerang and Hyperlapse have been removed from app stores, and you can no longer find them as standalone apps. Together with shutting down the IGTV app, this is another Meta’s step of focusing on Instagram reels as much as possible. Unlike the IGTV shut down, Instagram didn’t confirm this on its blog or social media. But, some users have noticed that Boomerang and Hyperlapse were missing from Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store, so they tweeted about it....
On 4 October, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, and WhatsApp experienced a major outage that affected users all over the globe. It appears to have been so serious, that Instagram is now testing in-app notifications to let you know when something is wrong. Today, Macphun announced the release of the latest version of their HDR creation software. Aurora HD 2018 will soon be available for preorders, and what’s more – for the first time, it will be available for PC, and not only for Mac.
