Adjustment Brush is one of my best friends in Lightroom. Still, it looks like I didn’t know all its secrets. Scott Kelby reveals a quick tip for all of you who, like me, didn’t know that you can draw a straight line with the Adjustment Brush. In this video, Scott will show you how in just under a minute.
Funnily enough, I knew about this feature in Photoshop: all you have to do is select the Brush tool, click once in your image, then press and hold Shift and draw a straight line. Well, the principle is the same in Lightroom. Select the Adjustment Brush, click once in the image, then press and hold Shift and click again for the straight line. It’s a handy feature when you need to adjust a part of an image that has straight lines in it, such as paths, fences, roads, etc. There are a lot of little tricks in Lightroom and Photoshop.
