We’re a big step closer to a Canon EOS R5 release announcement now, as Nokishita Tweets that it has passed its Bluetooth certification. The belief is that the EOS R5 was originally scheduled to ship in July, and Canon Rumors reports that they’ve been told that’ll still happen. With lockdowns still in effect in much of the world and no definite end in sight, though, there’s no telling if that will happen. The Bluetooth certification for the EOS R5 reads somewhat cryptically on the Launch Studio of the Bluetooth website, but Nokishita breaks down what all the codes mean.
