Light painting artist Darren Pearson is known for combining light painting and stop motion animation. In his latest video, he has again brought these two techniques together to create a tense duel between a cowgirl and a light-painted skeleton. Who will win?

The animation was made entirely from in-camera shots. 300 of them, to be precise. Each of the photos was hand drawn using light and shot using a long exposure. Then, Darren put the 300 images together in a stop motion animation showing a shootout between Astro Bandit and Shiny Bone Jones. I won’t tell you who wins, you need to watch the video. And make sure to follow Darren’s work on his Facebook page and Instagram. [Light Duel via Laughing Squid]
