We’ve seen many awe-inspiring timelapses, photos, and videos of rocket launches shot from the Earth. But have you ever wondered what does it look like from space? In this timelapse captured from the International Space Station (ISS), you can see a rocket launch from an entirely new perspective.
The video above shows Russian Soyuz-FG carrying a Progress MS-10 (or 71P) module launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, which brings supplies to the ISS. The 1: 30-minute long timelapse video shows about 15 minutes of the launch. I always find videos of rocket launches and videos from space interesting to watch. It was only recently when DIYP covered the longest timelapse ever shot from space. But, this one is different from anything I’ve seen so far, considering that it brings together rocket launch and a video taken from space. And for me, it’s especially captivating to see the rocket when it leaves the Earth’s atmosphere. It’s definitely not something you get to see every day!
