The time lapse bar keeps getting raised. A few years back a mountain top covered with clouds shot with a digital camera was enough for us to make a small wow. But as technology gets more accessible, those are no longer enough. This video by Kirill Neiezhmakov has nothing to do with those static shots.
In a glorious journey through Hong Kong, Kirill takes us through some of the more iconic night scenes of the city, as well as some hidden gems. And it does so with stellar hyperlaptic motion.
The movie was shot during one month of september in 2015, and I guess it took that long to edit. Usually, some of the timelapse we feature pride themselves on using very little kit. This is not the case for this video. Kirill used quite a bit of cameras, lenses and grip:
